TRACE 2016 > funding


Two institutions have generously offered financial support for PhD and MSc students wishing to attend the TRACE 2016 conference:

Applications commence on 1 January 2016.
The deadline for grant applications is 20 March 2016.

Everyone wishing to apply can submit two proposals. The results of grant selection will be emailed to applicants. The names of the grant winners and the waiting list will also be posted on this web page.

Grants funded by the Association for Tree-Ring Research (ATR)

Several grants are being offered by ATR to help cover the costs of conference participation for selected students. Please check ATR funding rules and the application form.

Grants funded by the Leading National Research Centre (KNOW): Centre for Polar Studies, University of Silesia

Ten grants are being offered by KNOW to cover the costs of the conference fee and accommodation (11-15 May 2015, Białowieża National Park Guest House). Please note that grants do not cover the costs of your travel and of meals not included in the conference fee.

Grant selection will be on merit based on the scientific experience and achievements of the applicant and the quality of the contribution submitted to the TRACE 2016 conference. Please check the rules of the KNOW grant competition. To apply for funding fill in the application form (including cv, list of your previous conference contributions and publications and your abstract submitted for TRACE 2016).
